A common H-2A question: Who is exempt from Federal overtime pay requirements?

Those in primary and secondary agriculture. But what does that mean?

Primary agriculture:

Farming in all of its branches, including any direct farming activities (planting, cultivating, harvesting, etc.) or the raising of livestock or fur-bearing animals.

Secondary agriculture:

Practices (whether or not they are farming practices) performed either by a farmer or on a farms as an incident to or in conjunction with such farming operation.
